What a school should know
Live rounds do not collect student names. This page is the whole list.
Live rounds
- The teacher types a school, a room label, and a grade. Those words are stored as typed.
- The room stores the standard, the questions, animal badges, and which answer each badge locked in.
- Students are not asked for a name. The join screen only offers animals.
- Finishing a round deletes the animal answers. The room itself expires after 12 hours.
- The teacher key reopens that room on another computer. It is not a student record. Students never need it.
Season board
- A post shows school, room, grade, standard, and quiz points. It does not show children.
- Only a Friday Cup where at least 3 students answered on their own screens can be posted.
- Calling one answer aloud still works for the class. That score stays off the board.
- The movement quest can add 10 points in the room. Those points are not posted.
- A school and room can post once every 18 hours.
- School names are not checked against a district list. The board is a public scoreboard, not an official ranking.
On the teacher’s computer
- The game-show roster and stars stay in this browser.
- A class file download contains those names so the teacher can open the same class on another computer. The file is not uploaded.
- The pasted quiz and the selected standard travel in that same file.
What this app does not do
- It does not require an account to play.
- It does not put a student name on the server.
- It does not sell class data.
- The page loads the Nunito font from Google. That request does not include student names or answers.
- Access voice lines are files already on this site. A student voice is not recorded or sent.
- Classroom Quest is operated by Grant Corporation. The privacy policy and terms name the company and the contact.
